First Talon

Varrik Sorn serves the Imperial family and leaves the Avrix as the Prince's protector when the first proper excursion to Caelora is authorised. Before descent, he temporarily leaves his duties in the hands of his younger brother, Serak Vorn.

Neither brother treats the handover as anything more than a brief separation. Varrik expects to return. Serak expects to meet him at the arrival dock.
